Job summary

Entergy Arkansas, LLC invites students to join a Summer 2027 Engineering Internship in Hot Springs, AR. You will support Distribution Engineering, work on management system components and collaborate with operations to improve grid safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor's in electrical or mechanical engineering with a minimum 2.8 GPA, and available for onsite work with travel across Entergy service territories.

Qualifications

• General electrical or mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office tools - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong and positive team attitude and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to understand scope and objective of each assignment.
• Team environment: support engineers with design, site visits, drawings and material estimates.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to Distribution Engineering day-to-day tasks.
• Travel to work sites within Entergy service territories.
• Support the Development, Delivery and Deployment of assigned Management System components.
• Develop and monitor observation tools, indicators and actions related to Management System compliance.
• Assist with design of jobs using Asset Management databases and GDT.
