Job summary

Entergy Arkansas, LLC is seeking a Student Intern to support Distribution Engineering in Pine Bluff. You will contribute to safety culture, reliability improvements, and project work within the business unit.

Travel to various Entergy service sites, assist in developing, delivering and deploying Management System components, and monitor compliance indicators. A self-starter with good communication and MS Office skills will fit well.

Qualifications

• Seeking engineering major.
• Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering candidates preferred.
• Must be actively pursuing a bachelors, as indicated above and at minimum classified as a sophomore or beyond.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher is required (on a 4.0 scale).

Responsibilities

• Provides support to Distribution Engineering day-to-day tasks
• Travel to work sites within Entergy service territories
• Support the Development, Delivery and Deployment of assigned Management System components to all applicable business units
• Develop and monitor observation tools, indicators and actions related to Management System compliance
• Assist or complete design of jobs that require the use of Asset Management Databases and GDT
