The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) is seeking two Engineering Interns to assist Stations teams in gathering, organizing, and discovering information about assets across MBTA facilities. The interns will work onsite in Charlestown from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm for 8 weeks, January 4, 2027 to February 26, 2027, supporting engineers with drawings, data, and asset records.

Competenze

• Enrolled full-time in an accredited undergrad engineering program.
• Able to work 6:00 am–2:30 pm in Charlestown, MA.
• Strong Excel, Google Sheets, and AutoCAD skills.
• Excellent English communication.

Mansioni

• Gather and organize information, locations, pictures of assets.
• Analyze drawings, blueprints, data, and equipment with engineers.
• Travel MBTA system to collect facility data.
• Organize data using Excel/Google Sheets.
• Use AutoCAD to produce, alter, and analyze drawings.
• Audit and edit service contracts.
• Participate in meetings and fieldwork.
• Provide courteous service to customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
