Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks an Engineering Student intern in Boston, MA to support in-house technicians and engineering management with day-to-day maintenance and operation of building systems. Responsibilities include following preventive maintenance procedures, documenting work, and ensuring timely completion of tenant requests.

The role involves hands-on work with MEP/HVAC systems, controls, and asset tagging, with opportunities to participate in project tasks and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a facilities management or similar program.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist in any approved task.
• Excellent interpersonal skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive work assignments, plan and execute tasks and obtain tools/equipment.
• Follow preventive maintenance procedures and document related records.
• Maintain logs of daily activities and events.
• Communicate status of building operations to stakeholders.
• Promote high standards in operation and appearance of properties and maintain tenant relations.
• Assistance with MEP systems, HVAC preventative maintenance, and controls troubleshooting.
• Review construction drawings and coordinate related work.
• Assist with asset tagging and software database uploads.
