Job summary

Novelis in Terre Haute, IN invites an Engineering Intern for a ~12-week on-site summer program. You will gain hands-on experience in project management, CAD design, and implementing tooling with a focus on work management and safety improvements.

The role offers exposure to cross-functional teams including Process, Operations and EHS, along with competitive pay and housing/relocation support for out-of-state interns.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University.
• Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent Graduate.
• Interested in gaining hands-on industry experience prior to graduation.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for interaction at all levels of the organization.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Responsibilities

• Develop improvements for general engineering processes.
• Use CAD to design tools/equipment and implement when possible.
• Collaborate with outside contractors to scope/spec new equipment for plant operations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop new safety protocols.
