Job summary

Lewis Energy Group's ten-week field-focused internship offers hands-on experience in upstream energy operations in South Texas. Interns collaborate with engineers and operations teams, work on real projects, and gain exposure to our entrepreneurial approach to South Texas natural gas development.

Candidates pursuing a BS in engineering, preferably petroleum, who have completed sophomore year and can work in the US, will participate in mentorship, field trips, and a final project summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS (or higher) degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Must have completed sophomore year status and in good academic standing.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• The Intern will perform project related work in their field and will be required to provide a summary of their work at the conclusion of their internship.
• The intern will operate under the supervision and mentoring of an industry professional.
• The intern will have an opportunity to connect with personnel across the company and provide real solutions to situations involved.
