We currently have an opportunity for an **Engineering Intern** at our **Carrington, ND** durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta.* Responsible for drafting, equipment and part design, and implementation of designed components.* Development of component dimensional drawings, updating facility layout drawings, and new component concept drawings using 2D AutoCAD software.* Equipment documentation to improve component fabrication resource.* Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and management personnel to successfully complete assigned projects.* Learn good manufacturing and food safety practices.* Other duties, as assigned* Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.* Must have experience with mS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT)* Must be able to deal with multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.* Successful completion of at least 6 semesters of an accredited Bachelor's Degree Program in Agricultural & Biosystems Engineering, Industrial Engineering Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other applicable engineering field.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience with 2D AutoCAD software* Previous experience in an Engineering Internship role**Physical Job Requirements:*** Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for 6+ hours per day* Must be able to lift-up to 34 pounds 6+ hours per day* Must be able to push, pull, grasp and use fine motor skills for 6+ hours per day* Must be able to make fine distinctions in sound, and express ideas by spoken and written word* Must be able to balance, bend, crouch, kneel and stoop for 3+ hours per day* Must be able to reach above shoulders for 3+ hours per day* Must be able to climb on and off a ladder for 3+ hours per day* Must be able to work in a dusty environment for 3+ hours per day
