Qualifications

• Enrolled in at least 6 semesters of an ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Prefer 2D AutoCAD experience and coursework.
• Interest in manufacturing, food safety and plant operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Draft, design and implement components for equipment.
• Create dimensional drawings and update facility layouts.
• Produce component drawings using 2D AutoCAD.
• Document equipment to improve fabrication resources.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance and management to complete projects.
• Learn good manufacturing and food safety practices.
