Job summary

Qualifications

• Candidate is a sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• CAD solid modeling competency is required.
• Analytical skills preferred (FEA, CFD, calculations).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
• Organized, with good time management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze assigned projects to establish plans, goals, and objectives.
• Design and build test fixtures for evaluation.

The Engineer Intern will support product development through a variety of duties including mechanical design, analysis, prototyping, testing and documentation. The Engineer Intern will work an estimated 20 hours per week.

What You'll Do...

• Analyze assigned projects to develop strategies for completion including the establishment of plans, goals, and objectives.
• Design and build test fixtures
• Test and evaluate equipment to make or recommend design modifications
• Provide assistance to manufacturing, and service personnel with troubleshooting of equipment.
• Work hands-on with other engineering and shop personnel in equipment development.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to design products for potential market release (phrasing)
• Support research and development of product innovation
• Required to work cross functionally with other departments
• Develop and present final project outcomes to peer and leadership groups
• Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time

What You Need...

• Candidate in Sophomore, Junior or Senior year
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree
