Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an HR Business Partner to join the Engineering HR Organization in a full-time, on-site capacity at sites including El Segundo, Palmdale, and San Diego. The role supports strategic HR initiatives, talent development, and employee relations across engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree with 2 years of HR experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years HR experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
• Preferred: HR experience in Aerospace & Defense.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Engineering leaders to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs.
• Project Management: Lead multiple concurrent HR projects from inception to completion.
• Talent & Performance Management: Drive talent identification, performance management, and career development.
• Employee Relations & Culture: Act as a trusted advisor to build an inclusive, high-performing environment.
• Collaboration: Work with COEs and HR peers to deliver seamless HR solutions.
• Communication: Engage with a geographically dispersed leadership team with cross-cultural awareness.
