Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Palmdale, CA seeks a Human Resources Business Partner to support the Production and Engineering Operations HR team. The role consults on HR strategy, talent identification, performance management, and employee relations across multiple client groups.

You will lead HR projects, collaborate with COEs, and implement programs for succession planning, leadership development, and workforce effectiveness in a fast-paced, matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years HR experience or Master’s with 0+ years.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with engineering leaders to develop and implement HR strategies and programs.
• Project Management: Lead and execute multiple HR projects from inception to completion.
• Talent & Performance Management: Drive talent identification and performance management initiatives.
• Employee Relations & Culture: Advise to build a supportive, inclusive, high‑performing work environment.
• Collaboration: Work with COE’s including compensation, employee relations, legal, and org effectiveness.
• Communication: Engage with a geographically dispersed leadership team with cross‑cultural awareness.
