Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies, Inc. in Denton, TX seeks an Engineering Leader to guide the Electrical Engineering team and advance ongoing and future aircraft programs through planning, coaching, and training of engineers.

You will provide performance feedback, supervise weekly one-on-one meetings, manage staffing, assign tasks within budget and schedule, and drive tools and processes that improve on-time delivery, quality, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, minimum 8 years relevant experience, Lead Engineer and/or aircraft completions experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a team of engineers to produce engineering designs meeting schedules and budgets.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and development of staff with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Guides Engineering leadership in directing the Electrical Engineering team to ensure designs meet specifications.
• Provides input for performance reviews and assists in delivering feedback.
• Conducts weekly one-on-one meetings with engineers and manages staffing and training.
• Plans resources, recruiting, hiring, and evaluation of staff within budget and schedule.
• Assigns daily work and tasks with budget/schedule adherence; drives timely design releases.
• Coaches and mentors engineers to maintain high team performance and quality.
