Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies in Denton, TX seeks an Engineering Team Lead to guide the Electrical Engineering group, ensure designs meet specs, and deliver on schedule and budget through coaching and mentoring.

You will partner with program managers, perform resource planning, conduct weekly 1:1s, drive process improvements, and uphold Aerospace standards while building a high-performance, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with relevant experience.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering leadership experience or equivalent.
• US Person status required for ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Guides the Electrical Engineering team to meet specifications and requirements.
• Provides input for performance reviews and assists department head with feedback.
• Conducts weekly one-on-one meetings with engineers.
• Manages resource planning, recruiting, training and staff evaluation.
• Assigns daily work while maintaining budget and schedule.
• Coaches, trains and mentors engineers to maintain high efficiency.
• Ensures design data release timelines align with aircraft delivery schedules.
• Provides technical guidance and keeps team focused on objectives.
• Drives tools and processes to improve on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Reports status to Project Engineers and Engineering leadership.
• Collaborates with other departments to resolve issues and mitigate constraints.
• Documents risks, challenges and lessons learned.
