Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies is seeking an experienced avionics operations leader to oversee installation, maintenance, and testing across programs. You will manage technicians, ensure IFR/Part 145 compliance, and drive improvements in processes and documentation.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and a passion for aviation innovation, with responsibilities ranging from scheduling to customer communications and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years’ recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily avionics operations and supports technicians in troubleshooting, installations, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensures FAA & Part 145 compliance with regulatory requirements and TAS quality procedures.
• Coordinates workflow, evaluates manpower and tooling, and manages shop priorities for efficient project flow.
• Communicates findings, upgrade options, timelines, and technical recommendations to customers.
• Maintains accurate documentation, logbooks, wiring diagrams, test results, and RTS paperwork.
• Mentors technicians through training and skill development to build a strong avionics bench.
• Assists with complex troubleshooting and provides guidance on electrical and avionics issues.
• Maintains safe, organized shop and supports long-term department growth.
