Qualifications

  • Internship, co-op, or early work experience in engineering or related field preferred.
  • Foundational technical knowledge aligned to your field of study (engineering, project management, construction, etc).
  • Demonstrated ability to apply academic learning to real-world problems through coursework or projects.
  • Exposure to industry tools or software relevant to discipline (design, analysis, project controls, data, planning).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with willingness to learn across functions.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills in cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of projects across Engineering, Project Services, and Construction to meet requirements, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Complete structured rotations across key functions from concept through execution and handover.
  • Contribute to discipline-specific activities during rotations (engineering studies, project controls, field services).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, building strong working relationships with engineers, project managers, and field personnel.
  • Assist in preparation and review of project documentation (reports, specs, schedules, vendor deliverables).
  • Participate in meetings, design reviews, and site activities to align with objectives, safety and quality standards.
  • Identify issues or risks, propose solutions, and escalate as appropriate.
  • Apply and promote health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across activities.
  • Engage in mentorship and regular performance feedback to support development across technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities.
  • Demonstrate adaptability, accountability, and proactive learning in a fast-paced project environment.
