Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks an Engineering Execution Team Department Leader in Tucson, AZ. In this onsite leadership role, you will manage IPTLs, drive staffing, training, and career development while coordinating cross‑program collaboration to deliver programs on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

Typically requires STEM degree and 12+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with financial analysis tools and project management methods.
Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government clearance with ability to obtain special program access is required before start date; U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop IPTLs, overseeing performance and career growth.
Manage IPTL assignments, workforce planning, and staffing forecasts.
Oversee AT Engineering Control Tower metrics and cross-program alignment.
Coordinate proposal staffing, reviews, and approvals.
Support monthly technical reviews and financial planning (AOP, LRP).
Travel up to 10% to support the team.
