Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering seeks a Program Specialist II to plan and execute complex events for the Workforce Development team. You will manage budgets, coordinate vendors, and ensure seamless delivery of programs for the College of Engineering and TEES initiatives.

The role requires supervising staff, adhering to university policies, and sometimes working evenings or weekends to support major events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of related event experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and execute special events, programs and presentations.
• Supervise and coordinate event personnel and vendors; provide post-event analysis and budget summaries.
• Support events management system and department events as needed.
• Drive major projects and implement new College-wide event policies and procedures.
• Coordinate Departmental Event Liaison education and communication.
• Engage with minors during program activities and follow university policies.
