Job summary

Crane Company is seeking a Project Quotations Specialist to analyze customer requirements and prepare quote documentation and proposals for Crane Solutions projects, spanning valves and documentation.

You will collaborate with Technical Support, Business Line Management, and Application Engineering to finalize BOM pricing, discounts, and payment terms, while maintaining standard work and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Admin, Finance or Accounting
• Minimum 2 years' industry experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Effective customer interaction via multiple channels
• Understanding of sales channels and business requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and prepare quote documentation
• Prepare Crane Solutions project proposals based on product, pricing, and terms
• Deliver accurate quote requests including price verification
• Apply divisional pricing policies including discounts and freight
• Provide product and technical support to customers
• Collaborate with application engineering and finance on quotes and BOM pricing
• Develop pricing models for various project types
• Create and maintain standard work documentation
• Drive process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
• Coordinate with finance for non-standard payment terms and warranty bonds
