Job summary

United Weld Holdings is seeking a Document Controller to support the Engineering team in Baton Rouge, LA. You will compile and manage engineering data in the document management system, ensuring accurate storage, organization, and retrieval for a large department.

The role requires 2 years of document control experience in fabrication or engineering, plus familiarity with engineering drawings and relevant software. A strong training mindset and attention to standards will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Document Control for a fabrication shop or engineering.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, JD Edwards.
• The ability to retain information.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and understanding of different metallurgies.

Responsibilities

• Compile large volumes of engineering related data into document management system.
• Store, manage, and track data for a large engineering department.
• Scan, image, organize, and maintain documents.
• Responsible for training employees on records management procedures.
• Familiar with department standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Interact daily with various departments across the US and internationally.
