Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a Division Project Engineering Manager to partner with business leadership and operations to ensure engineering efforts align with financial objectives. You will provide leadership across insulation systems, plants, and technical teams, driving capital projects, process improvements, and safety initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or similar, 10+ years of experience in engineering with capital projects, and strong management and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or relevant technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in various engineering roles with capital project management.
• Proven project management and leadership skills.
• Experience with day-to-day plant operations 24x365 (shift work, maintenance, HSE).
• Strong commitment to continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Ability to mentor, coach and develop others; strong data presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership and oversight to the division’s plants and teams.
• Lead division capital program planning and multi-year asset planning.
• Coordinate with Engineering Council and VP on capital projects.
• Manage project scope, budget, scheduling and reporting to achieve goals.
• Enhance production capacity, product quality, and safety performance.
• Mentor division engineers and process engineers; drive best practices.
• Ensure safe, compliant processes and equipment; address environmental issues.
• Support technology adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
