Job summary

James Hardie Building Products Inc. seeks high‑potential engineering graduates for the Engineer Development Program. You will rotate through U.S. manufacturing locations, gaining hands‑on experience in fiber cement and polymer composite processes while engaging with mentors and project teams.

In the second year, you will join an Operations role at a North American site and drive improvements. Eligible candidates must relocate and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in relevant engineering fields is required or preferred.
• Willing to relocate to U.S. manufacturing plants, R&D locations, or corporate facilities.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Demonstrated work ethic, leadership potential, and initiative through co‑op, internship, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotational training at U.S. manufacturing locations.
• Gain hands‑on experience across fiber cement and polymer composite processes.
• Contribute to process design, reliability, operations, optimization and continuous improvement projects.
• After rotation, join a role supporting Operations at a North American James Hardie site.
• Engage with mentors and peers during quarterly trainings and career development activities.
