Exelon is seeking a design-focused engineer to develop construction drawings and BOMs for utility infrastructure projects across transmission and distribution systems. The role involves field engineering support, interpreting standards, and coordinating with internal and external teams.

The candidate will analyze electrical/mechanical systems, apply engineering principles, and contribute to safe, reliable energy delivery, including extended hours during storms or emergencies.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful completion of the TECH test (bachelor's degree exempts this).
• Ability to analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of engineering principles.
• Proficient CAD drawing skills and familiarity with standards.

Responsabilidades

• Develops designs, layouts, construction drawings, and BOM for utility infrastructure projects.
• Interprets and applies engineering standards and memos.
• Provides technical consultation and plan development for customer projects.
• Evaluates design processes and participates in cross-functional teams.
