Job summary
Quanta Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Engineering Department Manager to lead a team of design professionals, interns, and co-ops on complex EPC and infrastructure projects. You will ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
The role combines administrative leadership, workforce planning, training oversight, and operational management with close partnership to executive teams to drive continuous improvement and project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience supervising large office-based engineering teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning abilities.
Responsibilities
- Set departmental goals, priorities, and strategic initiatives.
- Staffing, workload balancing, and resource allocation across projects.
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members for performance and growth.
- Develop training programs to strengthen technical, operational, and leadership capabilities.
- Conduct performance reviews using KPIs and metrics.
- Monitor budget adherence, schedule, quality, and productivity.
