Job summary

Millennium is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the Engineering Business Unit's delivery execution, budgeting, and scaling. You will partner with the VP of Strategic Solutions to drive margins and profitability while ensuring precise delivery and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

10+ years in telecom, fiber/broadband infrastructure or a comparable capital-project environment.
Experience owning KPI design and monthly management reporting for an operating unit.
Fluency with ERP/BI tools (NetSuite, Domo, or equivalent) and comfort presenting financial and delivery performance to executive audiences.

Responsibilities

Own gross margin and EBITDA performance for the Engineering Business Unit.
Own annual budget, forecasting, and staffing plans for the unit, translating project-level staffing input into a unit-wide plan.
Own cost structures and delivery economics, coordinating with the VP to connect to client-facing rate cards.
Design and monitor KPIs for the unit and report through the system landscape.
Own backlog, workload forecasting, and resource allocation across projects.
Own client retention and proactive response to client needs.
Own tool and technology evaluation and recommendation for the unit.
Own monthly reporting to management on status, performance, and metrics.
Own succession planning and leadership development pipeline.
