Job summary

Millennium Broadband Solutions seeks a Director of Engineering to lead the Engineering Business Unit’s delivery, margins, and growth. You will own budgets, staffing plans, and KPIs, working with the VP of Strategic Solutions to balance commercial and operational priorities.

You’ll manage backlog forecasting, resource allocation, and monthly performance reporting in NetSuite and Domo, while building a strong leadership bench across senior engineers and managers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in telecom, fiber/broadband infrastructure, or similar capital projects.
• Experience designing KPIs and monthly unit reporting.
• Fluent with ERP/BI tools and presenting performance to executives.
• Proven ability to build leadership bench and succession plans.

Responsibilities

• Own gross margin and EBITDA performance for the Engineering Business Unit.
• Own annual budgets, forecasting, and staffing plans for the unit.
• Own cost structures and delivery economics, aligning with client rate cards.
• Design and monitor departmental KPIs and reporting via NetSuite/Domo.
• Own backlog, workload forecasting, and resource allocation across projects.
• Own client retention and proactive response to client needs.
