Job summary

Millennium in the United States is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead delivery execution and unit economics across the Engineering Business Unit. You will partner with the VP of Strategic Solutions to drive profitability, client retention, and scalable operations in a telecom infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in telecom, fiber/broadband infrastructure or similar capital projects.
• Experience owning unit margin, budget, and cost structures.
• Proven KPI design and monthly management reporting for an operating unit.
• Fluency with ERP/BI tools and presenting performance to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own gross margin and EBITDA for the Engineering Unit.
• Own annual budget, forecast, and staffing plans for the unit.
• Own cost structures and delivery economics linked to client rate cards.
• Design and monitor KPIs like backlog, on-time delivery, unit cost per fiber-km, margins by project.
• Own backlog forecasting and resource allocation across projects.
