Job summary

Nuveen seeks an Engineering & Delivery Manager to lead the engineering team responsible for the investment data platform, spanning IBOR/ABOR, performance and attribution, and the transformation layer that publishes data to the enterprise data lakehouse.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on end-to-end data flows, engineering direction, and partnering across Operations, Product, Architecture, and Data to deliver scalable, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with modern data platforms and/or data domains.
• 5+ years of experience in Asset management or Financial services.
• Experience in an Engineering Management role.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering for IBOR/ABOR, performance and attribution, and the transformation layer, through to publication in the data lakehouse.
• Ensure one accountable, traceable path from source to consumer with near-real-time integration and clear ownership.
• Drive data quality, lineage, governance and observability across the platform.
• Translate business capabilities into scalable platforms and a clear engineering roadmap.
• Modernize legacy flows toward cloud-native, event-driven data products with strong API, streaming and integration standards.
• Balance delivery, technical debt, risk and resiliency; establish standards for security and disaster recovery.
• Embed AI into engineering workflows and data operations with governance and risk controls.
• Provide technical and delivery leadership across a distributed, global team and improve delivery transparency.
