Job summary

MacLean Power Systems seeks an Engineering Data & Change Control Specialist to manage ECOs, item master data, BOMs, and manufacturing routings within the JD Edwards ERP. You will maintain accurate part information and support production, purchasing, and engineering operations.

The role requires hands-on ERP experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Planning to ensure data integrity and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Business, or related field.
• Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of engineering change management processes (ECR/ECO/ECN).
• Experience maintaining item masters, BOMs, and manufacturing routings.
• Understanding manufacturing operations, production planning, and inventory management.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data management tools.
• Familiarity with PLM and document control systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, track, and implement ECOs with proper approvals.
• Maintain item master records, attributes, and manufacturing data in JDE.
• Create and configure new part numbers with master data and attributes.
• Create and update BOMs to ensure correct quantities and structures.
• Develop and maintain routing information with work centers and operations.
• Perform regular reviews and audits of ERP information.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Planning.
• Maintain engineering drawings, specifications, revision histories, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline ECO workflows and standardize processes.
• Follow 5S, safety, environmental and quality policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
