Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a 15-week Engineering Co-op at our Richmond, Kentucky site to support the Engineering Department. Co-ops will assist site Engineering Managers with daily tasks and special projects, contributing to department goals and initiatives.

Responsibilities include equipment analysis, new installations, developing drawings and specifications for equipment layout, and investigating new plant processes.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the Co-op program.
• Currently pursuing an Engineering Degree with sophomore standing or higher.
• Prior experience with teamwork or leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist site Engineering Managers with day-to-day tasks and special projects.
• Contribute to equipment analysis and new installations and facility revisions.
• Develop drawings and specifications for equipment layout.
• Investigate new plant engineering processes and techniques.
• Complete special projects identified by the Engineering Team and present at the end of rotation.
