Job summary

GAF is offering a Project Engineering Co-Op for Spring–Summer 2027 in Tampa, FL. You will work on high-profile projects as part of cross-functional teams, performing QA on materials and supporting problem-solving investigations.

Eligible candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering with a minimum 2.8 GPA and sophomore standing preferred. You’ll gain hands-on experience and present formal reports at rotation conclusions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.8 GPA; sophomore standing preferred.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering as listed.
• Strong problem solving, project management and communication skills.
• Ability to generate accurate and concise technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Performing raw material quality assurance activities and material performance.
• Conducting problem solving investigations to identify root cause and preventive actions.
• Supporting quality improvement initiatives with suppliers.
• Providing technical support and analytical analysis for material issues.
• Involvement with data flow diagrams/technical diagrams.
