Job summary

GAF is hiring a Project Engineering Co-Op for 2027 in Tuscaloosa, AL. You will join a team of engineers on high-profile projects, supporting quality and technology initiatives while completing a 6-month rotation.

Candidates pursue a Bachelor’s in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, with a minimum 2.8 GPA and strong problem solving, project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA; sophomore standing preferred.
• Willingness to work full-time for 6 months during specified terms.

Responsibilities

• Performing raw material quality assurance activities and material performance.
• Conducting problem solving investigations and troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement countermeasures.
• Supporting quality improvement initiatives with suppliers and internal teams.
• Providing technical support and analytical analysis for material issues.
• Involvement with data flow diagrams and technical diagrams.
