Job summary

GAF offers a co-op opportunity for students pursuing degrees in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering. You will work full-time for a 6-month term starting January 2027, contributing to material quality assurance, problem solving, and data analysis within a collaborative team at GAF.

Compensation includes a base hourly rate with potential living or relocation allowances depending on location; candidates must maintain at least a 2.8 GPA and demonstrate strong problem solving

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA with sophomore standing.
• Ability to work full-time for 6 months (January–July 2027) or combined terms.

Responsibilities

• Performing raw material quality assurance activities and material performance.
• Conducting problem solving investigations and troubleshooting to identify root cause and prevent recurrence.
• Supporting quality improvement initiatives directly or indirectly with suppliers.
• Providing technical support and analytical analysis for material issues.
• Involvement with data flow diagrams/technical diagrams.
