Job summary

GAF is offering a Controls Engineering Co-Op JD 2027 for Spring–Summer terms. Students pursuing bachelor’s degrees in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering will work full-time on high-profile projects under experienced GAF professionals.

Rotations typically end with a formal presentation to GAF leaders. The program includes a competitive salary and, depending on location, a temporary living or relocation allowance, with opportunities to return for additional terms while

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Academic standing required: minimum 2.8 GPA with at least sophomore standing.
• Strong problem solving, project management and communication skills.
• Ability to generate accurate and concise technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Performing raw material quality assurance activities and material performance.
• Conducting problem solving investigations and troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement countermeasures.
• Supporting quality improvement initiatives with suppliers.
• Providing technical support and analytical analysis for material issues.
• Involvement with data flow diagrams/technical diagrams.
