Job summary

Qualifications

• Freshman–Senior pursuing a Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
• GPA 3.0+ preferred
• Full-time for 8 months (co-op) or 4 months (internship)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing layouts for capital projects
• Develop time studies for line balancing and setup reduction
• Assist in new product and ECN implementation
• Create programs for lasers, plasmas, brakes and turret machines
• Calculate cycle times
• Assist Lean/DFT initiatives and automation programs
• Assist process documentation and workflow identification
• Support continual improvement of factory safety, quality, reliability and productivity
