Job summary

Doosan Bobcat offers a Co-op or Internship program designed to empower students to gain real-world experience while completing their undergraduate degree. Co-ops are 8 months full-time, while Internships are 4 months and part-time, with opportunities spanning 18 functions across the company.

Participants will work on capital projects, fabrication, assembly, and mainframe factory activities, gaining exposure to Lean/DFT initiatives, automation, and process documentation in a global manufacturing

Qualifications

• Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Commit to full-time for the entire 8-month co-op or 4-month internship.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing layouts for capital projects.
• Develop time studies for line balancing and setup reduction.
• Assist in new product and ECN implementation in Fabrication.
• Create programs for lasers, plasmas, brakes and turret machines; calculate cycle times.
• Assist in Lean/DFT initiatives and automation in Assembly.
• Support continual improvement of factory safety, quality, reliability and productivity.
