Job summary

GAF seeks a Co-Opportunity Co-Op in California to gain hands-on experience in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering. You will join high-profile projects as part of a team of GAF professionals, with rotations culminating in formal report-outs to leadership.

Positions run for a school term, with competitive pay and potential living or relocation allowances depending on location.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum GPA 2.8 and sophomore standing required.
• Full-time for a 6-month term (Jan–Jun or May–Dec 2027).
• Ability to generate clear technical reports and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform raw material quality assurance activities and assess material performance.
• Conduct problem solving investigations to identify root causes and implement countermeasures.
• Support quality improvement initiatives with suppliers.
• Provide technical support and analytical analysis for material issues.
• Engage with data/technical diagrams and prepare rotation reports.
