Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC in Green Bay is seeking an aspiring Mechanical Engineer to join our paper mill operations as an Engineering Co-op for two co-op periods (Spring, Summer, and/or Fall 2027).

The role will place you in a manufacturing environment to support innovation, process efficiency, equipment reliability, and quality assurance, with emphasis on safety and compliance. You will gain hands-on experience and exposure to Koch leadership.

Qualifications

• Enrolled and currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering program.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
• Experience utilizing data to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Co-Ops are likely in a manufacturing facility, to help support innovation, process efficiency, equipment reliability, and quality assurance, with a focus on compliance, safety and health.
• Gain real-world experience and take ownership of projects while learning about Koch and our principles.
