Job summary

Thompson-Construction-Group, Inc. is seeking a Change Engineer to lead engineering change management from initiation to closure. You will coordinate between Engineering, Materials, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to drive changes on time while improving visibility and prioritization of ECRs.

The role focuses on tracking open ECRs, identifying owners and due dates, and driving the approval process with cross-functional teams to minimize delays and maintain supply readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating engineering changes from initiation through implementation.
• Ability to track ECR status, owners, and due dates.
• Strong collaboration with Engineering, Materials, Manufacturing and Suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ECR development and implementation with responsible engineers.
• Maintain an accurate tracking system for open ECRs and priorities.
• Identify required reviewers and drive the approval process.
• Communicate upcoming changes to suppliers and affected functions.
• Provide weekly status reports and escalate overdue or high-risk ECRs.
• Ensure timely closure of completed ECRs and actions.
