Job summary

Copeland, a global climate technologies company, seeks an Engineering Change Coordinator to plan and execute engineering changes, pilot builds, and new product introductions in a high-volume compressor manufacturing environment.

You will link Corporate Engineering, Product Engineering, Operations, Quality and Materials, manage timelines and readiness activities, and drive successful transitions from development to full-scale production.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in high-volume manufacturing, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, project management or NPI roles.
• Experience supporting engineering changes and product launches in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred.
• Compressor, HVACR or other discrete manufacturing experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Engineering Change Notices and product design changes.
• Lead pilot builds and coordinate manufacturing readiness activities.
• Develop and maintain engineering change implementation plans and schedules.
• Ensure readiness of tooling, documentation, training, parts availability and process validation.
• Facilitate cross-functional launch meetings and track action items to completion.
• Verify manufacturing processes meet quality, safety, productivity and cost objectives.
• Act as central communication point between Corporate Engineering and plant personnel.
