Job summary

Wounded Warrior Project is seeking a Center of Excellence Manager, Engineering to lead and grow the Engineering team in delivering reliable, scalable solutions that align with organizational goals.

The role partners with IT Delivery Managers and directors to promote engineering best practices, drive process improvements, and ensure execution of technical initiatives across Finance, HR, Salesforce, and fundraising systems.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop engineering teammates with growth in technical competencies.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative).
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Engineering team, fostering skill growth and high performance.
• Oversee quality and timeliness of engineering deliverables and adherence to standards.
• Establish standard operating procedures and best practices for design, architecture, and workflows.
