Job summary

AZAD Technology Partners seeks an Engineering Technician to support line engineering by performing CAD drafting and ProjectWise documentation maintenance for overhead conductor, fiber-optic cables, ground wire, and related hardware.

This 2+ year consultant role is hybrid in Vancouver, WA with onsite 1–2 days per week. The position offers benefits and potential long-term employment based on performance and project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, CAD, Drafting, CS or related field preferred.
• 1 year of directly related work experience required.
• Experience with engineering drafting practices.
• At least six months of CAD experience required.
• Ability to read, understand, and analyze engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams.
• Experience using CAD software to create engineering drawings, preferably MicroStation, Excel, and/or SolidEdge.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD drafting and ProjectWise documentation maintenance for overhead conductor, fiber-optic cables, ground wire, and related hardware.
• Support line engineering activities through drafting and document control.
