Job summary

NexTech Solutions is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to improve developer experience and software delivery performance in Memphis. You will bring together data from multiple sources, build clear dashboards, and translate engineering metrics into practical recommendations for both technical and nontechnical audiences.

You will work with engineers, managers, directors, and product owners to identify bottlenecks, define success metrics, and contribute to evolving processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience relevant to the responsibilities of this role.
• Strong understanding of software development and software delivery metrics.
• Ability to analyze multiple data sources and create dashboards for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Experience with engineering analytics platforms such as LinearB, Jellyfish, Haystack, or comparable tools.
• Experience with internal developer platforms such as Backstage or comparable platforms.
• Familiarity with developer tooling ecosystems including IDEs, Git and source-control workflows, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain software delivery performance metrics through engineering analytics platforms and dashboards.
• Analyze DORA metrics, cycle time, PR throughput, and other engineering KPIs to identify bottlenecks.
• Combine data from multiple sources into dashboards communicating insights to engineers and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Configure analytics tools and integrate data from work-tracking and source-control systems for measurement and reporting.
• Use telemetry and feedback to guide continuous improvement and define success metrics with engineering leadership.
• Analyze existing developer platforms to inform enhancement decisions.
• Support teams in building self-service tools for infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD setup, and environment management.
• Create and maintain developer documentation and onboarding guides.
• Support tool demonstrations and training, explaining metrics and how tools can improve them.
• Present findings and collaborate with stakeholders to develop practical solutions.
