Job summary

Lockheed Martin seeks an electronics technician to provide technical support, maintain and repair test equipment, and configure instruments for diagnostics. You will read drawings, follow maintenance plans, and assist with design changes in a collaborative team setting.

The role requires a two-year degree or equivalent electronics training; practical experience with DMMs, oscilloscopes, and power supplies is preferred. This is a full-time permanent position in the United States.

Qualifications

  • Requires a two-year degree or equivalent military electronics training.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics; familiarity with preventive maintenance plans.
  • Experience with common test equipment and building to print documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to engineers across multiple tasks.
  • Maintain and repair test equipment following preventive maintenance plans.
  • Disassemble/reassemble equipment using appropriate hand tools.
  • Configure digital meters, scopes, power supplies, and analyzers for diagnostics.
  • Assist Test Engineers with design changes.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of a two-year degree program majoring in:

  • Electronic Engineering
  • Electronic Engineering Technology
  • Other related discipline

Vocational certification in electronics technology or equivalent to the 2 year A.S. degree which should include basic electronics and circuit operation through digital logic.

or Two (2) years of military service with electronic education and applied experience.

Desired Skills
  • Understanding of preventative maintenance plans

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $57800.00 - $107400.00
