Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Owego, NY is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to research, develop, and verify physical and software test systems for RF-digital hardware used in mission‑critical platforms.

You will lead multi‑disciplinary teams, design analog and digital circuits, perform PCB layout decisions, validate against IPC/MIL‑STD standards, and ensure reliable hardware integration throughout the production cycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and testing electronic hardware.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams or serving as a technical lead.

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 15 years of hands‑on experience designing, developing, and testing electronic hardware
  • Proven track record delivering complex projects from concept through production
  • Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams or serving as a technical lead
Technical Skills
  • Analog and digital circuit design (schematics, PCB layout, component selection)
  • RF/microwave, high‑speed signal integrity, power electronics, or mixed‑signal design
  • Proficiency with EDA tools (Altium Designer, Mentor, Cadence, Altium, KiCad, etc.)
  • Firmware/embedded software integration (C/C++, Python, RTOS)
  • Knowledge of industry standards (IPC, MIL‑STD, ISO9001, FCC/CE compliance)
  • Proven troubleshooting skills for hardware failures, EMI/EMC issues, and reliability problems
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or related field)
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of reliability testing (HALT/HASS, environmental testing)
  • Experience in manufacturing or operations environment
  • Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or related field)
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00
