Job summary

Lockheed Martin in the United States is seeking an Engineering Aide to provide floor-level support to automated equipment, update programs, and drive continuous improvement. You will gather and document technical data, perform calculations, and help generate engineering reports and drawings.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in engineering or 2 years of related manufacturing experience, with knowledge of SMT/AOI processes. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Engineering or 2 years of experience in CCA Manufacturing Processes.
  • Experience with SMT, AOI, Conformal Coating, and PTH is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Modify/Update programs for automated equipment.
  • Provide floor support of equipment.
  • Perform machine calibrations.
  • Generate maintenance plans for equipment.
  • Interface with equipment manufacturers to resolve problems.
  • Perform continuous improvement and defect reduction activities.
  • Generate tooling requests and requisitions.
  • Perform transactions in Apriso/SAP.
  • Perform other tasks under the direction of Manufacturing Engineers.

Standard Job Description

Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

As the Engineering Aide, you will be responsible for providing floor‑level support to automated equipment, updating programs, and driving continuous‑improvement activities.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Modify/Update programs for automated equipment.
  • Provide floor support of equipment.

Basic Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Engineering Discipline or 2 years of experience in CCA Manufacturing Processes.

Desired Skills

2+ years of experience in CCA manufacturing processes such as SMT, AOI, Conformal Coating, and PTH.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $43300.00 - $80500.00
