Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering drawing experience preferred; CAD and Windows applications required.
• Experience in engineering design, underground locating, surveying, construction, fiber, or utilities preferred.
• Ability to prepare designs, equipment locations, and obtain easements in coordination with others.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineering Aides and Department Personnel with staking, easements, and work orders.
• Gather field data and translate plant conditions to records for engineering and operations.
• Coordinate installation of utility infrastructure with project managers and contractors.
• Prepare drawings and materials using MicroStation, Bentley, GTech, and SAP.
• Assist customers with service requests and on-site investigations as needed.
