Job summary

Sun Technologies, Inc. seeks an Engineering Aide in Chandler, AZ (up to 12 months contract) to support engineers by processing data, tracking schedules and hardware, and generating status reports across Teamcenter, Excel, IMS, Jira and related tools.

You will assist with hardware procurement tracking, coordinate with buyers/vendors, pull labor data, and keep Jira aligned with milestones in a Scrum/Agile environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional education/experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to multi-task and process information from multiple sources/tools.
• Responsive, motivated and reliable in task completion and follow-up.
• Ability to track schedule and budget at a basic level.
• Lean/Agile exposure (Scrum/Jira) preferred.
• Experience with engineering or technical programs (aerospace/defense preferred).
• Familiarity with PLM software (Teamcenter) and hardware tracking.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and process engineering data and drawings in Teamcenter and related systems; assist IPT reviewers.
• Support hardware tracking, procurement status and integration planning.
• Coordinate procurement with buyers/vendors and track purchase status.
• Pull and organize labor/actuals data from Excel and program files.
• Look up and report IMS/schedule tasks, dates and dependencies; support schedule tracking.
• Update Jira tasks to align with program milestones (Scrum/Agile).
• Track SDRL/DID requirements and follow up on overdue submissions.
• Create concise status lists, reports and charts from multiple data sources.
