Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Aide to support the Systems Engineering team on technical meetings and design reviews. The role focuses on capturing and organizing comments, actions, and artifacts to ensure traceability and accessibility for the program team.

The position is 100% on site in Chandler, AZ, with travel as needed. You will work with engineers and managers, maintaining logs, preparing documentation, and supporting readiness and close-out activities.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years related education/experience.
• Experience in an engineering/technical or project-support environment.
• Strong note-taking and documentation skills; detail oriented.
• Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and basic familiarity with SharePoint/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate technical meetings and design reviews; track schedules and logistics.
• Attend reviews to capture decisions, questions, risks, and follow-up actions.
• Prepare review agendas, entry/exit criteria, and supporting materials for distribution.
• Maintain structured logs of comments, action items, and owners with due dates.
• Provide regular status updates and ensure traceability to reviews and documents.
• Coordinate with Systems Engineering, Hardware, Software, and Management to share materials.
