Job summary

AlphaStaffHCM is seeking an Engineer II to provide engineering and project management support for terminal, storage, pipeline, and facility operations across gas and liquid assets. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Commercial, and Project teams to support capital projects and asset optimization while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering, project management, or operations support experience.
• Experience in natural gas, liquids, midstream, terminal, or energy sectors.
• Experience managing projects from concept to implementation.
• Experience with terminals, storage assets, pipelines, or related infra.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of small to medium engineering projects from concept to closeout.
• Develop scopes, specs, cost estimates and engineering packages for terminal and pipeline projects.
• Support gas and liquid asset operations including storage and terminal facilities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to ensure project success.
• Review construction docs and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Perform engineering analyses and modeling to support planning and operations.
• Evaluate bids, equipment and material specs to meet objectives and budgets.
• Monitor schedules and budgets, resolving project challenges proactively.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for assets and facilities.
• Participate in PSM activities (PHA, LOPA, PSSR, MOC) and manage change processes.
