Job summary

BWC Terminals in Houston, TX is seeking an Associate Project Manager to plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of liquid terminal projects. You will support project managers on complex expansions and develop detailed scopes of work, cost estimates, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Industrial, midstream, downstream construction, or project management.
• Experience with owner-operated industrial facilities is a plus.
• Experience managing multiple small capex projects ranging from $250K to $10M.
• Experience with ERP and project management systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, Maximo, Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple small to medium capital projects within budget and schedule.
• Develop detailed scopes of work and support RFQ processes.
• Coordinate with management, operations, purchasing, engineering, vendors, and contractors.
• Track budget, schedule, and performance metrics; provide risk assessment.
• Lead change control and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation and reports.
• Travel within the U.S. as needed.
